New sorting hall
After many years of planning, our new packing hall is now complete. With a modern sorting facility, cold storage, and improved logistics, we are taking the next step in handling our apples – from orchard to customer.
In recent years, we have been planning a new facility for handling our apples. Our old sorting facility was put into operation in 2009, and over the years we have evaluated both what has worked well and what could be improved.
The new facility improves the sorting and packaging of fruit into different quality and size classes, the planning of internal warehouse logistics, as well as systems to trace the fruit from orchard to customer.
In April 2024, we began construction of our new packing hall with its sorting facility and cold storage. The project is now completed, and we look forward to starting this year’s season in the new facility.
